Who knew such a hidden gem was right near York? Murton Park has it all – a museum, animals, playground and living history sites – and it’s been around since 1982! We are also home to the Derwent Valley Light Railway, a volunteer run heritage line that offers passenger train rides, and we play host to some of the best-known historical re-enactment groups in the North of England.
