Miss Louise gained her BBO grades in ballet and tap at the Wilsoncentre of Dance and Drama, under principal Gordon Wilson. She then went on to study for a BA honours degree in drama and English at Edge Hill University College.
With performance and passion for theatre running through three generations of her family, it was inevitable that Louise would ‘take to the stage’! Her first dance performance was at the tender age of six at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford. From there on in, Louise had caught the theatre bug,and has acted, performed and danced in countless amateur productions. From appearing in and choreographing a local production of the play ‘Stepping Out’ to rising to the challenges of Shakepeare, Louise’s performance experience is varied to say the least!
After years in the retail management sector, and after having her two children, Evie and Danny, Louise wanted to find a new challenge. She began working as a class leader for Rhythm Time pre- school music classes in January 2014, and found a love of working with and seeing the development of very young children.
Louise is thrilled to become the proud owner and class teacher of Tiny Toes North Leeds and Lower Wharfedale, and her ambition is to bring her love of performance and dance to these new and exciting classes. Her aim is to inspire the next generation of Tiny Toes dancers, with more than a little sparkle!
