Collaborative post.

The annual Ackworth Garden Centre Easter Egg Hunt is always popular with families and it’s easy to see why!  Here are six reasons your family will want to visit over the Easter weekend.

1. Complete the trail for an egg prize

Families can follow the trail of eggs around Ackworth Garden Centre in order to earn a lovely chocolate egg prize.

2. Enjoy a treat in the newly refurbished cafe

The cafe at Ackworth Garden Centre has a brand new look and lots of wonderful bakers making delicious cakes and biscuits. The creme egg brownie and the Easter cake are so popular that they are struggling to keep up with demand!
Customers are very pleased with the new coffee suppliers as well.  Let’s be honest, a day out isn’t complete without a great cup of coffee.

3. The Ackworth Garden Centre Easter Egg Hunt is free if you spend £10 in the cafe

To make your visit even sweeter, the Easter egg trail is free to anyone who has spent £10 in the cafe! (Otherwise there is a £3 per person charge for the trail).

4. Meet Peppa Pig and Chase from Paw Patrol

Peppa Pig and Chase from Paw Patrol will be on hand at the Ackworth Garden Centre Easter Egg Hunt to assist your little egg hunters; a great chance for that Peppa selfie!

5.  Pick up some award-winning gifts

Ackworth Garden Centre has some very on-trend Scandi Outdoor Furniture for sale, as well as a new range of indoor furniture, lamps, cushions and rugs.

The owner, Fiona, says, “We are really pleased to have so many of the ‘gift of the year’ winners for 2018 in our store, from the wonderful dinosaur from the National History museum to Prosecco pong, we have all your gifts covered. We are pleased to welcome many new suppliers including the Yorkshire Handbag company, Jellycat and Royal Worcester. Our candles both Woodwick and Vineyard are always very popular and the bath bombs are a great scented way to relax.”

6. Spring plants

Ackworth Garden Centre has some great offers on Spring plants including beautiful roses, Pieris, half-price Heuchera and a wide range of half-price pots, as well as a bespoke container planting service.

The horticultural experts on staff are always happy to offer advice and help to everyone, from the novice gardener to the seasoned enthusiast.
